Very soon I'll be cleaning my wife's EDC. A S&W 9mm EZ. She officially started spring break yesterday after work (she works for a school district). After work she met a couple of her co-workers for a lady's day at the range. One of her girlfriends took this picture of my wife. No targets were saved or had pictures taken of, so I have to trust the wife when she says she shot very well. I'm jealous she was able to go to the range. It's been too long for me without a range day.View attachment 105615
She's a bad***!

Hi,

Wanted to drop a line of introduction, new guy to the forum, with 60 years of shooting and a little less reloading. The screen name says it all, I'm just a bum now holding my recliner in place most of the time.

Glad to be here,
Jim

It's too early in the morning for me and I can't remember, so let me also welcome you to the forum from the Wild Wild Upper Midwest. I've been wasting the bandwidth for a little while around here but I'm still basically an old noob compared to most. Good to have you here.

I'm just up getting ready to make a joyful noise in church today. Mrs. BassCliff is still asleep so I'm trying to be very very quiet. 🤫

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

Too early for dirty movies. Having a cup of coffee with breakfast. Husky food ready for Maggie. Sciatic nerve is killing me today, already over a month, might have to go to hospital but can barely walk this morning! No doggie walks today.
Amigo, I used to have problems with my sciatica, but no more! What I'm saying is not a state secret but seems like it might be soon.

Go see a reflexologist and see what they can do for you! 25 years ago I was looking like a walking pretzel. I couldn't stand straight, nor move with any ease. I was 14 years into my LEO career, and it was looking bleak. The reflexologist pressed the reflex point for the nerve and it was miraculous! I got up the next day like nothing happened, and that was 25 years ago and I haven't had any issues with the nerve since. Go Amigo, you won't be sorry.

Range therapy this whatever time it is. Started walking in from 18 yards. Finished with 1 shot from the holster at 7 yards. Need a new backer the cards wouldn't stay in the forehead area. Had to use different spots on the paper. Not bad not great either. Average at 7 yards was 2 seconds. Started with a bag on simulated grocery at the beep get rid of the bag draw and shoot the card.

That looks like a fun workout. I've never tried splitting a playing card. That would be a hoot! I like using my timer for drills when the range is slow and I don't get interference. Feel free to post these range reports in the "Skills" section so more people will notice them and heckle you. Well, they heckle me anyway. But I deserve it. ;)

The Mrs. and I just got back from church. I played my bass on the worship team and made a joyful noise. The kids and grandkids were in church with us today. It's so special when we take up a whole row. :) Be blessed.

Thank you for your indulgence,

Welcome to the forum from west central Minnesota! 😎 My friend @Belt Fed forgot the third category of inhabitants here...enablers. That one's extra though, and of course must be earned. ;)

Good morning,

I'm off to play an early performance for the old folks. I love spreading joy. I'll do a couple of chores when I get back. Not much else planned today. Maybe the Mrs. and I will go for a nice long walk since the weather is amenable. Blessings to all.

Thank you for your indulgence
