Yeah, long time-no see. Thanks for stopping by. :)

I've been using my new-ish optic pistols to practice and train lately. I'm starting to get the hang of it. My last range report was my "advanced" defensive pistol class, using this one....

It's my humble Mod.3 with Holosun 507C-X2. I did pretty well with it. I'll train with it in at least one more class before I start carrying it regularly. The circle dot optic is a lot easier to see for these old eyes. I still need to get the presentation perfect so that the reticle is "there" after I draw. ;)

Have a great time in class with your newly found super power. It does make a difference.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

I've found a circle dot much easier to use than a dot-dot myself on a pistol or for speed. Not sure why, but I prefer the dot-dot on an AR15...seems more precise, idk. Still have the circle dots on my primary HD weapons (P226 & SP5). Our brains are funny I guess.

I draw at home often just to make sure the dot is there. I have found I am more upright with an Optic.
