although the 1911 platform didn't perform well for me the 45acp became a decent round when i bought a g21. even with the not much loved wwb ammo, it performed well and was accurate out to 15 yards (far as i tested).

I absolutely love 1911's. The trigger, the feel, everything about this platform is great. And of course, the historical signiifcance. Nothing can compete. For me at least.
