I just found out that we lost @Snake45 about two years ago, not long after he first suggested I check this place out... and it reminded me of all those people I knew 20-25 years ago in college and fallen forums from those days.

Drop a post and reminisce a little if back then you were a member of...

• The High Road (original)/A Human Right/We the Armed - I was there back when Oleg still owned it and Larry Correia was still a mod and Mike Kupari was still just "Nightcrawler" posting short-form fiction on a forum
• Your American Backyard/The Gun Zone/EOTAC/Gunhub - once hangout of many old-time gunwriters including Mas Ayoob, Patrick Sweeney, Charlie Petty, Frank James, Walt Rauch and Dean Speir (RIP all but Mas and Pat)
• Others? I was part of Mike Caswell's AWBanSunset in '04 but that community went down soon after The Ban expired and we all lost touch

My username most places was the same as here most of the time, though in my early days I went by "nedry". (IYKYK)

While not on your list the FALFiles was very active way-back then during the golden-age of FAL parts imports & builds. I spent a lot of time there when I was in my FAL building mode, but things started going south there for various reasons and I faded away from it.

It's still around but a shell of it's former self.

Thanks - I mainly only listed the ones I remembered being part of. Maybe this thread can help reconnect old buddies if enough chime in... wonder what happened to Kevin Gibson, Chubby Pigeon, "Stand Watie" and csmkersh just for a few.

I'm on here and the Smith and Wesson forum, not the blue one, too ridgid for me. I use these as my release since the stroke, as I don't get out much and don't care for crowds. Same screen name on both.
