I got some goodies today a set of Lok-Grip ivory roughnecks put them on the Sbardella and installed my Smith and Alexander main spring housing it took quite a bit of fitting for the grip safety to swing out far enough to block trigger bow but came out very well.

My Azalea's have just about ended their Spring bloom --Sitting here thinking that it's a good thing I left my winter gear in my vehicle. It got up to 81 degrees here today (with gale force winds, of course), now we are in a winter weather advisory. It's going down to 28 tonight with a "wintry mix" predicted by morning. Gotta love the northern plains. We truly do live under the statement "if you don't like the weather, wait a minute"

The coolest thing I ever found, but was disappointed how worthless it was, was a .10 cent aluminum WA state tax token.36 cents
Think it was from 1932. Those were found to be unconstitutional, and instead we now have other forms of unconstitutional taxes.

In case some of y'all ain't enjoyed the seasons here in the southwest, allow me to explain....
I'll start at fall, we have fall from October through December. Then mebbe 2-3 weeks of what y'all might call fall, but we'd call winter. Then we have 2-3 weeks of pre-spring, then we get spring, usually from March and April. May is definitely summer! Great temps, what most of the country calls summer! And then...
Three months of hell!!! Jun, July, and August! During this period, we sometimes are greeted with the monsoons. Flash flooding, people stuck in the washes, sitting on the roof of the vehicle awaiting rescue!
Then we go back to summer for September to pre-fall for most of October! Great place to live!

Critters fed. Java on board. Yesterday I got interior of 5 cabinets shellacked, today a coat of polycrylic and that's done. But more important, lunch with the posse at Piggly Wiggly. Maybe on to my range later to fling some 230 grain slugs at steel plates. Sigh! So much to do, so little time.
