Xds 45 mod 2 sights and other related parts

I just bought an Xds 45, it came with a red dot sight and stock iron sights. I was wondering where i might find a top plate to replace the red dot sight and if the hellcat sights would fit in place of the stock iron sights. Any info is appreciated.

For iron sights, my favorite is the tritium SpeedSights.

The XD-S Mod.2 OSP slide is milled for the Shield RMSc footprint. A compatible micro red dot will mount directly on the slide, no plate needed. I am unaware of an adapter plate that will allow a different optic format. But I don't get out much.

Maybe the folks at C&H Precision could help. I like their plates.

Thanks for the info. I plan to remove the red dot and hopefully go with the stock sights from a hellcat. Not a fan of the red dot. For some reason I can't seem to find that little red bugger. Lol

Are you saying the top plate did not come with the pistol? I thought that would be included in the package just in case an owner wanted to remove the optic. Check with Springfield customer service if you need one.

I apologize. I thought you wanted to put a different optic on your new pistol. Springfield customer service might also be able to tell you if the sight dovetail cuts on the XD-S will allow fitment of the Hellcat sights.

I'm at a loss. I've got a few Springfield pistols but not Hellcat or XD-S. I do have an XD45 Mod.2 Tactical that's really fun to shoot.

Thank you. I took the red dot off this evening and there was no plate under it. One was not provided with the package.

Contact customer service. I'm sure they'll sell you a stock top plate for the slide.

I've bought a couple of the "gear up" deals with optics and extra mags. But my optics were not factory installed. I still have the top plates for my Mod.3 and Echelon, should I ever need them. Your optic was installed at the factory, right? I'm a little surprised that your top plate was not included with the other bundled bits.
