Everyone Okay?

I barely made it out of Missouri yesterday before flights became impacted. I went to the airport 7 hours early and got on standby for every earlier flight that came within 100 miles of home. Fortunately I got onto flights from MCI to PHX, and then home. Got stuck with the middle seat on both flights but I was happy to beat the weather.

Hi,

Thanks for asking. We're OK but our basement got a little wet, not flooded, just seepage. I might have to get a drain tile repair/replacement. I'd never heard of a drain tile before.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff
Just a question, with your photo of your basement having water, shouldn’t your furnace be on a plastic pad to keep any water from getting inside?

All good(ish) around here in S Central WI.

This is the first time in recent memory we had THREE tornado warnings in my neighborhood in a one week span...Nothing made it to the ground near me fortunately.

SILLY amount of rain...my dogs (basically barking cats) are swimming in the yard, the water hasn't been able to drain well enough...

Hail the size of my fist (not kidding) did a number on my new grill, and some of my patio furniture, thank God the cars were in the underground parking....Many of our friends and neighbors weren't as fortunate.

All in all, I'll count myself as one of the fortunate ones overall.

At work we've already seen a staggering increase in body damage and glass claims, this is going to be a rough couple months.
