What is the torque setting for grip screws? Internet is all over the place on the proper torque.

I have the VZ Grips on my TRPCC.

I have my grips off so often I have no choice but to check I do a full breakdown after about 4 matches and just a semi clean after every match unless it's my .22 then I clean after every two or three matches.

being a former mechanic (before i got into trucking), i have a generally good idea on torquing low specs (inch pounds)...its like using the "feeler gauges" to adjust the points set.........if you know, the points set, then you know "the feel"

i use "o" rings on all my 1911's, but not any of the 9mm's that have removable grips with screws. in fact, those grips have lock washers, from the factory

when getting a gun ready for some shooting, a quick check on the screws, then a check on the screws when cleaning the gun afterwards.
