In fairness to all, every car pretty much looks like another! They are all bland and if you don't think so, park a BMW SUV next to a Hyundai and tell me what the difference is...![]()

DisagreeThe big difference is, the Hyundai won't be in the shop nearly as much as the BMW.

Guess I haven't been keeping up with them. My daughters each had one in the 90's and they took a serious licking and kept ticking.Disagree
Hyundai is having major issues with some suvs, as is Kia
thats a good little engine23 Edge SEL with 2.0 engine twin turbo Ecoboost. This will be the last Ford for me, I hate their engines. Will go back to GM. I always thought Hondas were great--they are not. CR-V 1.5 engines are junk.
Our third car, the Hoopty, used just for running errands, is Hyundai Santa Fe, with over 140,000 miles on it. And running strong. Just saying. Now in your defense, I did tell the wife no more Hyundai SUVs. So we bought a Mazda CX 70 SUV for her new vehicle.Disagree

Not in a AWD Edge! Thing is a gas hog. Lucky if I get 20 in city and 24-25 on highway. Thank god it uses regular gas. Most New Ford vehicles now are made to run on premium fuel-- no way won't do it, it's ridiculous! I always wanted another Explorer but not anymore. They have all kinds of issues and are not reliable and way too expensive. Even mighty Toyota has its issues!thats a good little engine
they fixed the head gasket and then the fuel line breaking issues
not sure why they switched that to the edge
its not the power house the v6 was in hp and tq
but my grand child gets 31 mpg in her eco boost 2.0
The last couple year models have had issuesGuess I haven't been keeping up with them. My daughters each had one in the 90's and they took a serious licking and kept ticking.

I think it was around 1997 that my daughter had a new Ford Aspire with a manual. Fugly little thing, but it never had a recall or required a repair. I believe it may have had a foreign engine in it. I taught both my daughters to drive a stick shift on the back logging roads long before they were 16. Most kids today wouldn't know how.The last couple year models have had issues
