At 78 this is the first cake I've ever made. My Mom cooked this cake many, many times as it was my favorite. She didn't use cake mixes. Wish I had dark brown sugar as it looked better.

Up with a cup of coffee and a blueberry muffin. Husky food ready for my girl. I will take Maggie to Lowes today as tomorrow and Friday might be a little wet. We could really use it. Maggie knows that they sell dog toys there now.

You need to drop some of those big trees. I know they provide shade but they are a danger!
