What are you doing right now??

I retired from a PD. Then I retired from USAF Reserve. Then I retired from the hay business. Then I retired from a PI and firearms training business. I think I have finally found a way to make it stick and I'll be in the wood shop. It IS good to be retired.

I'm sitting here waiting on the FedEx to deliver my Taurus that's been gone for a month at the factory I can't leave until he comes cuz I have to sign for it and I need to go to the parts store to get inside races and bearings and seals for a truck I have it all tore down but I can't leave till he shows up
Had my Walther PDP at the Walther hospital -- Fed Ups delivered it -- left it on the front porch, no doorbell ring, no signature, no way I'm calling Fed Ups to complain as I have it now.

arguing with epson printer techs
win 11 sees the printer... then says driver not available
epson says yes it is at their website...
NO ITS FREAKING not
:mad::mad::mad::mad:
wasted 2 hrs or more dicking with it
my win 10 machine sees it and prints wirelessly just perfect
I have an HP printer. Changed Wi-Fi carriers, couldn't get printer hooked up. HP doesn't have people working there, just chat crap . Did the youtube -- no help. Used the manual -- no help. Tried everything -- no help. My son came over for our range trip and explained to him -- he said, "show me". Dammmmmed thing hooked/linked up and runs great (feel like a fool, but it works).

question
are you trying it via wifi or wired? which model epson is it? my guess it only is a downloadable software and didn't come with a disc. or you have to scam a qr code which is stupid, but it might get it to the right software

wellllll
i found an old page that said try to use win 10 drivers
soooooo
i downloaded win 10 driver, it saw the printer on the network, which is preferred as i can print from any computer or phone or tablet ..

and bing bang bobs your uncle it freaking printed a test page
one would think on the epson page and microsift shell answer man page it would say... hmm try a win 10 driver
now i can get my chores done....

Hi,

There's a cute little knife and kitchen store in town that does artisinal sharpening. I brought my lawn mower blades and a couple of others for "while you wait service". In the meantime I'm spending money in their store. I think they had this planned all along. ;p

Mrs. BassCliff is taking me to a movie later. No, not a dirty movie, the newer sci-fi flick "Hail Mary". Then it's fish fry time. Blessings to all.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

been there myself before i needed my back operation.
thursday of last week i had my 2nd appt with the same doc i had on that monday. he was way more informative than the rest have been in the last 20 years of my pain. after the appt on monday i had time to do an mri and ct and still make an appt of the same week being out of town (dfw area). he's trying to figure out if it's the nerve or the bone causing the pain, so i'll have facette injections and see what happens. if i get some relief or a lot then he knows it's the nerve and not bone related. it bone related he'll have another type of procedure for me to try. these might keep me from having the implant, but may require me to do these procedures twice/year? i also found out why some people only get 1 electrode/wire instead of the required 2 in the cervical area (not cervix). there's possibly not enough room for the 2 wires since the cervical area is smaller than the lumbar. not as room for margin of error.
