Just finished a bpbh sammich! For the uninformed, that's butter, peanut butter and honey sammich!
thursday of last week i had my 2nd appt with the same doc i had on that monday. he was way more informative than the rest have been in the last 20 years of my pain. after the appt on monday i had time to do an mri and ct and still make an appt of the same week being out of town (dfw area). he's trying to figure out if it's the nerve or the bone causing the pain, so i'll have facette injections and see what happens. if i get some relief or a lot then he knows it's the nerve and not bone related. it bone related he'll have another type of procedure for me to try. these might keep me from having the implant, but may require me to do these procedures twice/year? i also found out why some people only get 1 electrode/wire instead of the required 2 in the cervical area (not cervix). there's possibly not enough room for the 2 wires since the cervical area is smaller than the lumbar. not as room for margin of error.been there myself before i needed my back operation.
Hope this doctor helps you out and relieves your pain, your in my thoughts and prayers sir.thursday of last week i had my 2nd appt with the same doc i had on that monday. he was way more informative than the rest have been in the last 20 years of my pain. after the appt on monday i had time to do an mri and ct and still make an appt of the same week being out of town (dfw area). he's trying to figure out if it's the nerve or the bone causing the pain, so i'll have facette injections and see what happens. if i get some relief or a lot then he knows it's the nerve and not bone related. it bone related he'll have another type of procedure for me to try. these might keep me from having the implant, but may require me to do these procedures twice/year? i also found out why some people only get 1 electrode/wire instead of the required 2 in the cervical area (not cervix). there's possibly not enough room for the 2 wires since the cervical area is smaller than the lumbar. not as room for margin of error.
