Roxy just brought home a dead, full-sized Yellow Bellied Marmot. And boy, did it stink! Took it away from her, and she was licking her chops like she'd just had a nice juicy steak.

Just finished up an upgrade to my new Colt .38 Super Combat Commander after getting it back from my gunsmith who installed an Ed Brown ambi safety and extended mag release. He checked it for proper feeding in case it needed a throat & polish job.

He made up some wadcutter .38 Super rounds and it fed them 100% so it should feed everything I want to run through it.

I took out the OEM double recoil spring set-up and went with a Ed Brown 2-piece full-length guide rod with Wolff 16 lb. recoil spring.

Off to the range with it this next week.

I've mentioned this before about a small female cat that lost both left legs and can still climb trees. Here she is. Not all of the leg is gone but she's a happy cat. Also part of her tail is gone
