Well yeah there is that if youre looking at them like range toys. As a CDW (civilian defense Weapon) they have the ability to pack small and hit beyond handgun ranges. Do you need one? Who knows; but I always feel comfortable with one on "those days" when tensions are high and the leftists feel the need to shout in the street

The trouble with PCC's....
is they have very limited utility in my area due to the wide-open spaces that we get into almost immediately with a switch to more potent firearms.While I have a dedicated PCC, which I put together when I shot IPSC a lot before Covid it's still useful in the immediate homestead defense, but that's about it.
I have some MCK Glocks, which were projects to bring back various Glocks back to usefulness after they had been replaced by better platforms. And again, they are for immediate homestead defense, and/or walk-a-bouts in the woods/hills.

At least the ammo is much cheaper and you can afford to shoot it way more often than a rifle. And you can stockpile it way easier since it's cheaper.

The statute 790.222 prohibits devices that increase a firearm's rate of fire as if to mimic a machinegun. The legislature sees such a device as circumvention of the prohibition of machineguns and the statute closes the loophole. Bump stocks are prohibited as well. Machineguns in the hands of drug cartels in the 80's made Florida LE pretty hard over against automatic weapons on the streets.
