What are you doing right now??

well....I'M BAAAACCCCCKKKKKK

i spoke with the doctor, about the declining effects of that first shot.

i had him show me my xrays and tell me if my knee is "bone onto bone"...and it is not..

but the space between the upper/lower bone is wide at one end, and slowly diminishes towards the other end.

asked if they grind down the bone "arthritis", to make the space all the difference, he said "no, they do not do that"

so i asked..."knee replacement sometime in my future"..??

yes, was the response

so anyway, today instead of injecting me in the back of the knee, he drained and injected the joint from the side....

he said sometimes its a matter of finding the right spot, for some of these injections to work ASAP

"ouch" i said aloud a time or 2....but no more than 7 times.....

he said "once the needle passes thru where it has to go thru", (i forgot what that was), it's easy sailing....and it was. ''i watched it all on the ultrasound screen. can plainly see the needle going into the joint.

told him, "when i cry like a little girl, then you'll know its hurting me much more"

well....immediately the pain from the back of the knee disappeared. the fluid filled cyst was now nearly empty.....

i walked to my car like, god was walking on water.....smooth as silk.

i got home and climbed all 13 stairs like i was wearing air filled shoes...

MY GOD...WHAT A SPECTACULAR DIFFERENCE, this time...!!!!

just for that...thursday morning, i am going to the range, with whatever gun is "due" to go.......

now, 30 minutes till nap time.

Glad you are back home safely and you seem to be happy with the prognosis!

A great day all around!
yeah, here i am at my age, and thought "it took all these years to get to this point of the arthritis bothering me.

the way i "look at it", i ain't gonna be around many more years for maybe that new knee replacement.

now, unless it is a highly advanced type of arthritis, then i'll go visit @Belt Fed, and maybe have him try out his new, super-duper chain saw on my leg..?????

Congrats! Glad it was successful

That POF PSG22 i just bought new off gunbroker sold as new, POF just told me it is 5 years old. be careful buying stuff there. that was it for me. I noticed it did have kind of a low serial number. they said they would still warranty it. a couple days ago i ordered a couple recoil springs and some other stuff. the spring in it feels really weak. i had no idea it was that old. now i'm thinkin the thing might have been stored several years with the bolt locked back. we will see when i get the new springs. will save me from packing it up and sending it off

got my gun log book out, to check on what guns are due for some choot'n

frankly a few are, and i even made the mistake that i took the colt comp 1911, and DID NOT jot it down, so i just put in march/26.

i hate when i forget specifics.

anyway, at least 1 gun at a time, and tomorrow, the Beretta 92 FS, 1 box reloads, 1 box factory

going to the public range, usually always on thursdays.

also getting about time to start reloading again....the very cold basement is getting warmer now to start up the Dillon.

gotta do at least 1,500 each, 9mm and 45 ACP.
