What are you doing right now??

Up with the birds, literally. We have a pair of doves that love to sit on the bench on the deck, getting all lovey dovey and preening each other. Quite the little show. And then there are the robins and the colorful little wrens…who needs human entertainment, right?
Anyway, I’m just getting ready to make my second cup and start breakfast for the husband. He’s pulling an afternoon shift down south about 2.5 hours away, so I’m spending Mother’s Day by myself. I do have a dinner date with my Mom and FL siblings in the form of a video call. That will be fun as Mom will be really surprised.
Other than that, I’m flying under the radar today, and if it’s not too cold or windy, I’ll do some deep reading on the deck.
Happy Mother’s Day, y’all! 😊😎
Have a Happy Mothers Day.

Had the first cup and fed Maggie. Opened the back door and there were millions of grasshoppers! As soon as sunrise came they were gone. Went to home depot and parking lot was full of them. They are all over town! Some buildings are covered with them. Streets are filled with dead and alive ones. Don't know where they have come from but they need to go. What a mess.

Aw man we're in the same boat!

we received .90 of rain at 520 ish this morning sounded rough, but lasted less than 20 minutes
woke up the dog, she woke me up to let me know it was raining, she fell back to sleep
