Good guy with gun helps police take down active shooter

Well there are lawyers and Lawyers, dont hate the profession, you may need one some day. THIS was a judge decision
Maybe but I believe I’d rather have a daughter work in a house of ill repute-at least that’s honest work. 😏. I have a very good friend who was hit on a motorcycle by a Durango that turned into him. He suffered a lot of pain. Other dudes insurance company was not helpful at all. He wound up hiring one of the “injury specialty “ companies (largest in the area). Three + YEARS and 38 k worth of healthcare bills and he still hasn’t received ANY settlement, and when/if he does these ambulance chasers will doubtless wind up with at least 2/3 of whatever it is. As I said- Parasites.

Here’s some more on his jacket before being paroled last year…

Details on the gun used and the suspect's criminal history

State police recovered the gun used in the shooting between the road and the bike path, which they said was identified as a multi-cal BCI Defense Model FF-15, with a scope. Over 60 spent rounds were located in the area. They said Brown does not have a license to carry firearms.

The criminal complaint says a review of Brown's criminal history shows that he is currently on dual supervision parole and probation for various offenses, including armed asault to murder, attempted assault and battery with a firearm, three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, carrying a firearm without a license (second offense), carrying a loaded firearm without a license and possession of a large capacity firearm, as well as assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and witness intimidation.

Brown's parole start date was May 21, 2025, and was set to terminate at the end of the week. However, his probation would still have been ongoing.

which they said was identified as a multi-cal BCI Defense Model FF-15,
Im sure they took the "multi" from the the description on the receiver; but Im amazed that any PD would be that clueless to issue a statement like that. As in we didnt bother to pick up a piece of brass to ID the cartridge. Its like the whole F-ing state is terrified of guns and doesnt want to touch it....

You guys remember when the carrying /possession of a firearm by a convicted felon was supposed to be good for 15 yrs of hard time all by itself? The whole “catch and release” judicial system is to blame for an awful lot of the violence we’re seeing these days.
I Dealt with a lot of the denizens of correction facilities. Some of those miscreants should never see the light of day. Cops and prosecutors can see who they are, I could never understand why some judges can't. One of my favorite judges at sentencing was fond of telling defendants he hoped they brought their rubber ducky and toothbrush because they were going away for awhile.

Don't be surprised .

Partially tongue in cheek . I'm sure several Ofc on the scene , and in the firearms section knew better .

But the Official Statement was written by the public relations section , by literally copying what it said on the evidence list .
