Battle of The Bulge movie coming out.

i do like Clint Eastwood's son.....many times talks/sounds like him.

but, sorry, if hollywood can not come up with an original movie....

i'd rather watch the original over a remake......

and i certainly will NOT pay to see ANY remake.....

God himself (and my wife) know what i pay for cable....so i ain't gonna pay twice for a movie....

Every movie is a remake unless it is portraying a recent event. There are not enough subject plots in the world that have not been used

My Dad's baby brother was with Patton during WWII. He told me that it took him over 30 years to get where he could walk in the woods, he never hunted or fished again. Each time he would step on a stick and it would snap he would break out in a sweat and think, "Oh God, I know the Krauts had to have heard that." They truly were The greatest generation.

I watched the trailer the other day and I don't think this is a remake of the original, which JMO was a horrible war movie full of inaccuracies and pop history. This one seems to be a composite of the book, "Those Damned Engineers" and historical accounts of overrun units which formed ad hoc guerilla teams. But hard to tell from one trailer. It will be worth a watch for me.

The original movie was so inaccurate that Eisenhower went on television to say how bad it was.
A remake of the original would be truly awful
