"they" meaning all legislators throughout the blue states, "will find a way", to ban ALL semi automatic handguns, cuz "they will say", that those guns too, can all be turned into machine guns, and the sheeple will believe the BS spewing out of thier pie holes....
i just don't know when the US Supreme Court will be an absolute stop to all this BS once and for all.

a round up of those "lawmakers" needs to be done and put into jail for messing with the Constitution, but that ain't gonna never happen either.

I feel bad for people who live in the communist states but have stopped worrying about what they choose to do to themselves. I just can't abide their refugees moving to my state and bringing their stupid ideas with them. Unfortunately I think it will take another World War to bring the eggheads off their high horses and back to some semblance of reality.

The Control freaks will just fine another excuse. No smoking, no real Christmas trees, no outdoor BBQ. no gas power lawn mowers, no gas ranges, no ceiling fans (ceiling fans for crying out loud)............... It's about control not guns. Just they really don't like guns, because and armed populace are harder to control.
This. A certain party is doing their best to make America a communist nation. Oh they’ll not call it that because that’s not an easy sale, so they’ll be liberal, or progressive, or socialist, but the net result is and will be the same. There IS a reason the Communist Party of the USA stopped fielding their own candidates in 1980 and has consistently supported one party ever since. It’s hard to deal with an armed populous, so they’ll work, constantly, to chip away rights while simultaneously indoctrinating children that guns=evil. Been doing it for decades and it is bearing fruit. Long before my 2 year old great granddaughter reaches my age America will have became a communist state in everything but name. I wouldn’t bet against it in the next 25 years. Once those now in their forties are seniors and the generation their age and younger are in charge the balance will swing totally to anti-gun. Us old pro 2A farts will be gone and the younger folks who are pro will be overwhelmingly outnumbered by anti’s. Once that’s happened it’s over.
The government of our country has became an ever stronger and ever more controlling every year since 1860 as more and more “functions” are taken over and assumed by the federales, and the government controls ever more of our lives. Don’t expect it to stop now. Study the documents written by the Founding Fathers, actually Read the Constitution. As designed, “independent states” voluntarily came together and formed a union, with a very restricted national government whose powers were very strictly regulated. And once the Federal Government gains control of ANY function it never gives it back to the states. Washington had 4 cabinet members, Lincoln had 7, Teddy Roosevelt had 9, today there are 20……

I got home from the Viet Nam war in 1970. Home was a suburb of Chicago, so all I knew was Illinois until my stint in the Army. The gun laws were harsh and the taxes were on everything. Concealed carry? Don't be absurd. I escaped to Wisconsin and it was the best decision of my life. The Supreme Court MADE Illinois legalize Concealed Carry finally and my Best Friend who still lived there told me that the State made it as expensive and difficult as possible. I'm not surprised in the least that that the State Government is using a back door approach to gun control.
