What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Shooter's Bible Guide to Handloading in the Lay-It-Flat spiral bound version. Never flips closed on you when you don't want it to.

From holding it feels is heavier than the pencil profiles. I was hoping it would weigh less ir equal to the pencils. They did state itis equal to or less in weight to a sporter? They were supposed to thermal between the journal and muzzle also, but only did straight flutes. This was a test barrel snd I won't order another like jt as regular cost is $200+ for the thermal fluting depending on gas system length. Good thing i bought it during a sale.

That's a wicked lookin barrel.
I usually get barrels from McGowen, but they rerely have sales unlike x-cal does. Nearly a sale for every holiday of 20% off and 24 or 48 hour sales of 30% off. They take longer to ship barrels than McGowen by 4-8 faster. IIRC i went all out on this barrel having it thermal fluted, cryogeniced and pained. Normal price would be around $850.

I saw that Academy had 500 rd. boxes of 9mm back in stock so I stopped in while in town yesterday. None to be found. Talked to the guy working there and he said "we haven't had that in months. I wish we did 'cos I buy a couple boxes". He even showed me his computer screen showing it as unavailable. Got home yesterday and checked the same location, and it showed it still in stock.

Looked again today, still showing 2 boxes in stock. Placed a pickup order...15 minutes later it's ready for pickup.

Somebody had a stash in the back. Lol

Last month I finally got around to buying a S&W Bodyguard 2.0, after many months of toying with the idea. I already have a (N. American Arms) .380, but it's more of a range toy than a backup piece. The NAA comes with 6-round mags, which work great, but the extendo mags (10-rd) are problematic on a good day, and a jam-O-matic most of the time. So it sits in my safe, unloved.

So I get the Bodyguard 2.0 and I love it, but I'm a magazine junkie. I always buy spare mags. The gun came with the standard 10 & 12-rd mags, plus a 2nd 12-rounder in the same order. Today I just received my order for a 3-pack from TheMagShack. Now I have enough
(for now)... 😁

As you can see, I've already loaded them up. Headed to the range in the morning, I plan on burning through a couple hundred rounds of several brands to see if she's finicky

You can bet that when I grab the Bersa, I'll be taking it out to the range for a "hard run". I want to get my hands on a new FN "High-Power" to see how well it runs. I'll tell you quite plainly, the new field-strip requirement for the "new" FN pistol makes it very attractive. The extra weight of the new pistol will make the handgun a pussycat. Hot loads won't even come close to bothering it.
