Just had a phone call from the gun shop. The Holosun green dot optic I ordered came in today. It's too late for me to go pick it up today (30 mile drive), so I'll fire up the Old Planet Killer in the morning and go pick it up. The suppressor I bought is still in ATF jail. Maybe they will let me see and hold it again while I'm there!

True story. My first knee replacement, I was out the whole time. The second knee replacement surgery, I woke up during it. Which is not unheard of. I am pretty fuzzy about the memories of it, but I do remember what sounded exactly like my cordless DeWalt drill. And then I remember them hammering on me. I didn't feel a thing, but could feel the whole operating room table shaking with the hammer blows. Then I was out again and woke up in recovery. They said I wanted to watch, but they said no. I don't remember that part though.
 
Hey all,

You guys make my knees hurt. I may need to get some work done on mine if they start bothering me too much. This is my "weather knee". I can tell when a storm is coming. ;)

It's been a slow day for me. I managed to get in my old man exercise routine before the HVAC guy got here for maintenance on our air conditioner. It's working great. I went ahead and turned it on, even though Mrs. BassCliff said "Not 'til July!" It's been over 80 and very humid. The A/C will keep the humidity in check. We're suposed to get more rain over the next couple of days.

I vacuumed the upstairs because it was time. I try to do it every week to 10 days. I need to vacuum downstairs too. It helps keep the cobwebs away in the basement.

Then I went to the hardware store to pick up a couple of filters for the HVAC unit. It'll be ready to change soon. I also picked up a new toilet fill valve for the 2nd bathroom. It's been filling really slowly for a while now. That'll be a project for the near future.

On the way home I drove through the carwash twice. I like to get my money's worth from the membership. Then, Dang! I forgot to stop and get beer. Yeah, I know. Life is tough. :LOL:

proper verdict. some of the local population are not happy. kid showed up at a local HS meet with a knife in a backpack and told the other kid "touch me and find out". other kid puts his hands on him to remove him from their school tent and gets stabbed in the chest by the "touch me and find out". then says he stabbed him to police and claims self defense.
found guilty of murder.

If they riot in Tx, Texans are allowed to shoot to defend themselves and property. this wont be like a blue state. folks better be smart on how they protest in Texas.
