Back in the day in the 90’s when I did compete in several adventures……

First was my benchrest rifle I bought used off of another competitor who got a new setup, REM 40x action, Hart Barrel, had 2 different scopes, one a Leapold and my backup a Tasco 36x, 2 oz trigger, McMillion fiberglass stock, caliber 222rem.

Then my big bore silhouette gun, REM XP100 action chambered in .338CJMK, devastating on the on the 200 yard rams….

I used a contender with a 30-30 barrel and occasionally lightened the mood with the 45-70 with the 405 grn cast bullets. Both had the factory muzzle brakes and oh boy, was the black powder well received!!

Sadly no, the rifle went back to its original owner, and the XP sold it to a friend

I put together a 300 win with a 10 twist barrel for 1000 yd any sight any rifle. I shot Sierra 190s out of it, and had a ton of fun doping the wind in Yuma and 29 stumps...

Now I’m thing about the range they built about 100 miles from my home. Dead Down Range 1000yd rifle range with cameras on the targets you don’t even need a spotting scope. Want a new target push a button. Free golf cart so you can transport your weapon and gear to the range.
