What are you doing right now??

These build kits were only 219 bucks, i can see why. the ceracote (if that's what it is) is very thin and easy to chip off. the aluminum is cheap and probably wouldn't hold up to hard abuse. thought i'd try them and see. i won't buy another though. i need to sight them in and see if the FRT's in them work. both have Arc fire's. but not today.
if anything at all, you gain even more experience building.

mistakes happen, and better to scratch a cheaper unit than a high dollar one.

mowed the yard
i generally am not allowed as mrs boatr took that over years ago so she can meditate i think
but she had some skin cancer things removed off her ear last week and doctor said, no outside sweating like hoe in church :ROFLMAO: until the wounds heal up

Just checking back in after everything around here went to hell in a handbasket. Sick wife, sick me, phone broke, computer died, our entire water filtration system had to be replaced, hot water heater went out, Roxy to the vet 3 times, Relatives showed up at a bad time.

When it rains, it floods!

All better and broke now. How are you gun nuts doing?

Wow, tough times you had.

Got back from ER a short wile ago. My sciatica was so bad I couldn't take it any more. Ended up getting 2 shots, one was for pain and the other was a steroid plus some medication I need to take. I did not make it to the range and now it's 100 degrees and i'm not going out. Hope everyone has a great fathers day, i'm going for a nap.

That stuff is MISERABLE! I'm going in for an MRI for the same thing. May opt for surgery if I can.

Take it easy and rest, hopefully those shots will help you, take care

Felt the urge to build something simple this last week.

I knew I had a Brownells 10/22 receiver and old Butler Creek bull barrel left over from my 10/22 build era, so I dug thru the parts inventory and got those two out and a spare stock.

But I needed the other the other parts so ordered some from Brownells & Tandemkross. So, will wait for those to arrive.

Also dug thru the optics boxes and picked out an Athlon scope that didn't make the centerfire cut, and some rings for the build.

The build won't be as nice & fancy as my higher-end 10/22s but it will be a fun truck 10/22.
i've seen where brownells has/had a sal on 10/22 parts. did you take advantage of the sale

sitting in the storage building at the pc when i got some bad pains (no nun involvement) so i leaned over and rested my head on the workbench. shortly after 3 female cats jumped upon the bench and stared at me while purring. 1 female cat put her head against mine for comfort i guess. seems like they know when i'm hurting as they do this a lot. i give them pettings and thank them for caring.
