First F-Class meet

Hi,

I tried my first F-Class meet with recently. Just a friendly thing I used a Ruger Hawkeye in 6.5cm with Vortex Strike Eagle 5-25 and harris bipod. Scored 191-3x. Amyone know how does that rate?

Good on you! Those are tough competitions. The only contest I've been in is a bowling pin shoot. I'll get out to a steel challenge this summer, hopefully.

I think a perfect score would be 200-20x (all 20 shots in the X ring). Your score would indicate 3 hits in the X ring, 9 hits in the 9 ring, the rest in the 10 ring. Forgive me if I state the obvious.

I'd say that rates really dang good for your first meet. What distance?

Thank you for your indulgence,

600yds. Thanks!

Second try was 194-5x. two floated high toward the end before i adjusted. I think because of barrel heat. The spotter with the custom rifle that probably had a more expensive bipod than my rifle and a barrel the width of my wrist was impressed. he shot 195-9x. maybe ill try the bergara .300wm one day but thats an expensive one to target shoot

Nice work! What's the time limit for that competition? I get lousy when I rush. :p
