Breaking News: Supreme Courts strikes down law banning habitual marijuana users from owning firearms

I don't like legalized weed. Over time, it destroys one's cognitive abilities and lungs. Habitual weed smokers and cannabinoid users generally lose the ability to manage their lives.

I must disagree.
Alcohol does the same, or worse, and there are no laws against drinkers owning firearms.

Still, shall not be infringed means shall not be infringed

Understood. Perhaps the alcohol standard should be applied to Cannabis/Cannabinoid products/derivations.

I stopped consuming recreational alcohol of any kind more than 15 years ago. I take wine at the Holy Communion.

I think that is where the court was going, saying that mere possession of pot was not something that should stop anyone from owning a firearm BUT by extension (as with alcohol) that possessing the fire arm while intoxicated (or high) was NOT protected. So, IF (BIG IF) Im reading that correct if you have guns in your house and you decide to get high in your living room, then you would still be in violation (Same for alcohol)
