I remember that incident. I was stationed near by at the time and used to visit the area. There were some cool gun shops and even though the HK site wasnt open to the public, we knew where it was. Back then HK was civilian friendly. Im pretty sure Gary gave the rifle to Al Mar (of knife fame) because he was the one that stood behind him during the trial and after when HK dumped him

Can we all agree to say F the States Attorney that insisted on bringing this case to trial and for being dunmbass enough to wave the gun around in the court room.
There was no way they were gonna put me on the jury; but if I would have been on the Rittenhouse jury, I think I would have dived out of the way when the district attorney waved the AR around, then asked the judge to remove him if he was so clueless with gun safety
