12 hour drive one way. Shouldn’t be to hard except Memphis. I’ll fuel up before going through there.

Well I have 3 days to work then I’m off to southern Alabama for 2 days. I’ll be driving with my toys so that means 2 days of range reports.

I’ll be bringing everything I have down with.

I’m thinking 39 to 55. That’s probably majority of the route.

Yeah, Illinois should kick Cook county out. I grew up in deep southern Illinois. Beautiful country, great folks. But Chicago has ran the state forever and ruined the government. You ever get the chance, go see old Shawneetown. The old bank there goes WAAAY back. Their claim to fame? Back in the very early 1800’s that bank denied a loan to a small village up north, because the village was “too far from Shawneetown to ever amount to anything”. The village’s name? Chicago

Interesting. Back then Chicago was smaller than Galena Illinois. It’s honestly sad when Chicago makes things harder and harder to live. If I ever won the lottery, I’m going to the middle of no man’s land with a banjo
