What are you doing right now??

Finished up my "Odds & Ends" 10/22 build I mentioned earlier.
  1. old Brownells BRN-22 receiver (During my 10/22 building era I was dissapointed it didn't like aftermarket parts contrary to what Brownells said. I went back to Ruger & Kidd receivers. But I got tired of looking at it just sitting there)
  2. new Brownells ss/nitride bolt. (easy fit into the above)
  3. old-school Butler Creek fluted bull barrel (full free-floted).
  4. old-school Hogue stock
  5. new Ruger fire control group. (I reminded myself about the various components in it that could be improved on as per my earlier builds, listed below).
  6. various Tandemkross, Volquartsen & Kidd parts i.e bolt handle/spring assembly, mag release, magazine latch plunger & spring, & bolt hold open/release.
  7. parts box Athlon 4-12x40 scope that couldn't find a home on a cenerfire. It focuses down to 10 yds which is good for 22s)
  8. TacSol 1" vertical split rings.
  9. Did some KISS bedding at the fromt of the receiver.
Not as fancy as my past higher-end 10/22 builds but it puts major left-overs back into use.

Off to the range next week.
