What are you doing right now??

Hanging with the hounds (for a few) with a beverage in the pool.
Redid the backyard. New rock. Stained fence. Some new landscaping . Hounds approve, but they called it quits early. Too hot. They wanted AC

....as I peer out from underneath my rock...Well, I suppose I better get up and get ready for work. You're not missing anything. Really. 😎
Grab your lunchbox and attack the day with great enthusiasm! Leap tall buildings on your way! May your teammates regard your prowess and skills in awe! All it takes is coffee and corn flakes, and maybe a McMuffin. You got this!

I just found out through a conversation with my son that my daughter has gone almost two years without working A/C in her car. According to my son, she has had it in the shop several times, but the "fix" has never worked for long. Her warranty is long since expired. She is very independent, stubborn, and too proud to ask for help. South Texas is much too hot to be running around in a car in the city without working A/C. I've discussed it with my wife, and I want to get her car repaired "correctly". She works very hard to make it on her own, but with the job she has, she has to be dressed semi-professionally. I can't imagen her driving that sweat-box around and then getting out of it soaked in sweat and still looking good! I will call her this evening and tell her to put her car in a shop I recommend and get this issue fixed now! I will pay for it, and if she doesn't accept it as a gift, then she can pay me back by doing some work around my place that my son used to do for me before he moved.

I have noticed that they have been putting those flock cameras up all over town here. I mean there is a lot of them! Wonder why so many cameras.
there was a story just minutes ago out of Ohio...people are complaining about them.

i welcome them.

i have been "pro-public cameras" for many years.

to me, those cameras are life savers, and help catch roaming criminals all over the place..

others, like some said in the news story, say it is a privacy issue to have them..

once a person, steps one foot onto a public sidewalk, one does not any longer "have any privacy"..

as long as the city/town, does not point them ONTO our property, which would THEN BE invasion of our privacy..???

i am all for it.

here, a few people have been caught, after a robbery, or burglary, as well as shootings as in drive-by.
