Hello fellow gun owners. My name is Wayne, I'm 67 years old and have only been shooting for the last 7 years. I am a retired auto/ heavy equipment tech of 40 years. I am very fortunate to own enough land to have my own range in my back yard. I can shoot out to 100 yards yet rarely do.
I enjoy reading the articles and post to help me learn if my shooting is adequate for self defense and just plain fun. My wife knows when I say I'm going to the gun store that I'm coming home with something that goes bang....
So if I ask a question just know I'm kinda new and just trying to learn.

i only been shooting since the beginning of 2020 myself, and i still ask questions...

even a few long time shooters here, ask questions, like:

1) what gun should i buy next?

2) how many bullets does that magazine hold?

3) i got a headache from looking at too many nun pictures, what pain meds should i take?

4) i wanna shoot another tree in my backyard, which one should i choose?

5) i like the little yellow minions, do you too?

and not finally, but.....

6) anyone got an idea oh how many pounds a fat lady is at the gun range..??????

Welcome to the forum, from west central Minnesota 😎. You will find we are somewhat of a family, sort of 😉. We come from many backgrounds and different parts of the country, but we share many of the same passions (I’m talking guns here, guys 😂). Just be wary of the cretins, curmudgeons, and of course…the enablers. There’s lots of knowledge about just about everything here, and if we don’t know…we’ll find out for you. 😊
