well got up about 8 AM..yup...8 AM
had breakfast, balanced the checkbook, wrote out several checks to be dropped into the mail box, and one to go out and pay the sewer bill.
got home, repaired 2 sections of the stockade fence at the bottom support beam to the pole.
then went to the side of the house, and laid down some Flex Seal into additional cracks and added some over already laid down Flex Seal.
no water getting into my cellar (basement) since the last Flex Seal application, just wanted to "bolster" what is already there.
1 thing to remember regarding ANY size can of flex seal...
make sure the inside groove of the can is super clean and dry, and NO hardened flex seal in those grooves.
the god damned lid WILL NEVER seal right after the first time you open up ANY size can.
and that sheeet can be expensive......

Just finished mowing at the neighbor's and mowing my range. Seems like I just did this! Posse coming to shoot pistol on my range Wednesday. In the house soaking up A/C with the dogs now.

Sitting in the living room with the AC humming along. It's 103 outside on the patio right now. Wife and dog taking a nap. It's like sitting in a cave. Hardly no traffic outside and everything is quiet.. Weather says it will be like this all week! Hopefully August will be cooler.

welll while mrs boatr is not allowed out side in the heat or OUT on the water
i decided to work ahead on the boat off season stuff
new port engine water pump, moved rear bench fwd and lifted it up about 5 inches so i could unscrew the almost 50 screws holding the fuel tank panel into the deck,
fixed several battens that the screw holes were stripped
just finished painting the new stand offs and bolts to move both oil filters one inch outboard so new larger oil filters fit
tooooo, freaking hot right now to be out there sweating like luke getting his dirt out of the bosses ditch
plan on playing twizzler and slithering under the engines to do some paint work on the bilge weds
i figure the fumes right in my face whilst i paint will knock me out and i will wake up folded in half under an engine
tonight ... dark time i have water the trees, 7 days no rain and its getting dry dry
and good for us, its so dry the grass stopped growing, so no mowing this week
which saved me money as i need to fill the two gas cans
