testtest

Another Good Guy with a gun.

THIS HERE is why every red-blooded, God-fearing patriot needs to be strapped at all times. And the ones who do will have the thanks of a grateful community! The fellow who stopped the active shooter is definitely one of us!

...He met the moment of crisis and passed the test.

Not me. I like what I carry now, and have never gone along with the "flavor" of the day. I march to he beat of my own drum. Now, suppressed for home defense? Working on that....... 40 yard shot? Only if called for. I practice out to 25.
Maybe why he was able to drive off attacker and not drop him. Distance. Supressed. Movement of gunman.
All factors

Okay, but what was the Trooper carrying? And what was his hit ratio?
No clue. No pics. No info. No distance either.
Having shot a lot of suppressed pistol, it is not intended for distance with balistics.
Not judging . He stepped in with what he had. God bless him for that !
Just saying there are a lot of factors involved and a suppressor multiplies them

Not judging your not judging. You know more about suppressed pistols than I do. I am just curious as to what the Trooper carries off duty, and if either one of them got shots on target. I am assuming they did, as this piece of trash didn't want to face its comeuppance and took itself out, probably after being hit. While I don't know its frame of mind, it probably had plans of going out in a shootout with police, not what actually happened to it. Of course, that is just my speculation, which don't mean squat at this point.

Key Details of the Incident

The Counter-Attack: During a Sunday press conference, Twin Falls Police Chief Matthew Hicks confirmed that an armed citizen and an off-duty Idaho State Police trooper engaged the suspect and returned gunfire.

The Impact: Authorities stated that the actions of the bystander and off-duty trooper successfully diverted the gunman and drove him away from the scene, which prevented further casualties. Witnesses noted that the armed citizen's actions forced the shooter to panic and lose focus on other victims, allowing people to escape.

The Outcome: The gunman, identified as 24-year-old Chad Williams, fled the immediate area and died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The attack resulted in three fatalities and seven injuries.

I do believe I have stated before when some have said "the odds of you needing to use it are very low", I have said that the odds are increasing exponentially with every immature nutjob out there. And we are seeing it in real time. I carry everywhere that I legally can, no matter what I am doing. You just never know when it will happen in this atmosphere.
