Well, its a bit overkill to require students on a budget to wear suits, but “ business casual” while in public domain of the campus would be more appropriate.

School uniforms. No one is dressed any better or any worse than everyone else. When my kids were in elementary school, the dress code was approved school uniforms only. It was so much simpler and efficient.

wow, next thing you know they’ll ne expecting students to actually “learn” in order to graduate! I think it’s a Fantastic Idea. Now if ALL institutions of higher education would do similarly we just might windd up with college graduates that can actually function in the real world rather than spending their working lives asking “you want fries with that”

College kids have always been dressed casual. Even when we went thru 35 yrs ago. We didnt do pajamas like some of the kids now, but not all kids are lazy. Walking around my kids University the last several years on trips, I’d say 95% of the kids looked like they cared how the dress and look.

@KillerFord1977 Not required to wear them daily. Just for business meetings on campus. They’re gonna need one for interviewing anyway.

I like this. College students on my campus dress like slobs. They wear to class what they wear to bed. Literally. And the biggest slobs are the young women.

Come on now. Some of us have been playing video games since the 70s and have a few college degrees, highest being a Master of Science degree (not to brag, to demonstrate video games are not the enemy). IMO, the enemy is parents that don’t (parent).

on know, read, speak, communicate in English if in a US University while not in a foreign language program (and then, non English only in the specific foreign language classes).

Also need to teach them how to read and write in cursive. I firmly believe the reason why they don't, is because they don't want them to be able to read documents like the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Makes them easier to lie to and control.

they put ideas into kids head, like GTA, and driving like maniacs........

and how to use a REAL clock, analog, not digital to check the time...and how to make change with out a calculator....and how to bathe daily, and how to stay away from nasty nuns.....
