its this damned shaking i do as i stand.

yes, i "could have" propped myself on the port wall, yes i "could have" shot from the range bag.....

but will i have either of those in a real self defensive situation...???

I congratulate you. Practicing at self-defense distances, using just the equipment you'll have with you in any random situation, and keeping all those groups centralized on the paper, looks great from my perspective. You'll have no trouble should a bad guy do something stupid.

If you place that paper target on your chest, all those hits are doing damage, right? I think you are going about this the right way.

I've shot a G19 a few times and think it's a decent handgun. It's pretty concealable, has a 4" barrel (I need at least 4" to hit anything beyond 5 yards), and a grip just big enough for my bass player hands. You can't go wrong with it.

Age is relentless. When I look back at some of my targets a few years ago, I wonder "Why can't I shoot like that any more?" Like you, I have my good days and bad. I hope I'm having a good day when I need to. Blessings to you, sir.

target placed on the chest, would be many hits to the heart, or just below, like a lung.

i been carrying the G-19 since i dumped my overly active recoiling, and incredibly snappy Hellcat.......so about a year now.

i just do not practice much with it, which is not a good idea.

Nice! When my hits are not touching (they rarely do), I just tell everyone that it's "combat accuracy". ;)

I have the same experience. I've shot my daughter's Sig P238 in .380. It's a mico pistol, weighing only 15 ounces. It's not that the recoil hurts or anything, it's just VERY active when you shoot it. Plus, my pinky finger hangs off the grip. I have not used a Hellcat but I think it would act the same for me. I know these pistols work great for others, but not for me.

Holy Crap !

I was crossing the local lake toll bridge and got to the Dart (local commuter train) tracks at the intersection of a 4 lane road and a highway

Gates were down, lights were flashing and train coming.

A person on a bike crossed in front of the train and got hit !!! Holy 💩💩💩!!! Got hit by front of train and went airborne like 15 feet. Bike snapped in half.. train stopped immediately and person was on other side of train. Folks went running to help, but bike rider got hit bad .

I was back like 4 cars so did a u turn to leave .. wow.. cant unsee that 🫣🫣🫣😬😬😬

yes, even with magazines with a "pinky extension", my pinkly still hung off, and i don't have large hands...for me, at the time, so many were talking great things about the Hellcat......micro guns like the Sig 365 and the Hellcat are not for me, i have found out...the hard way.

but i got a good offer from my LGS on the Hellcat, when i sold it to them.

i doubt it very much that bike rider will survive.....

i wish him well........but........

i tried googling it, but the only bike/train accident was back in 2019, and that person died.

i didn't need an FRT for my G-30....

i put in a double diamond connector from the Glock Store, where i have bought one before, for my G-17

well, there was a slight bend in that connector.....

that G-30 shot off 10 rounds of 45 ACP, in less that 2 seconds, after i pulled that trigger.

scared the crap outta me.......RSO, never heard it, as he was busy with someone shooting an AR....

i fixed it right there at the shooting port

and that IS my back up carry...............yikes...!!!!

I have a S&W Bodyguard 2.0, .380ACP. I love it except for one thing, and that's the sights. The rear sight is too wide and it doesn't naturally line up when I get my sight picture on-target. The shots group nicely but only to the left, so when I put new sights in, I'll have to make sure to compensate for the windage.
