Is "Guns.com" OK to buy from?

i bought a police trade in S&W model 65 from guns.com a few years ago and it was above the excellent condition they listed it for.

Guns.com was also easy peasy to deal with so I do found another item on their site I wouldn’t hesitate with ordering

Sure, I will vouch for guns.com. They might not have the best online prices for new items but are competitive. I've made several purchases from them. A couple times I have made an offer (I thought was lowball) on used items and picked them up for a very good price.

I believe some of Guns.com’s offering are a network of dealers l. The large store/range I worked for one of my jobs was listing some on the stores Gunbroker side site. And the owner was talking about joining of Guns.com but I left right at that time so I don’t really know the true inside scoop.

It was a sizable store for a one of a kind individual owned non box store. He has a store inventory or around 4,500 guns on display plus back stock three ranges and the Gunbroker side during the ending hight of Covid in 2021 we had 3.5 million in sales just on the Gunbroker side. In 2022 whem I was the only one in the back I had 1.5 million in sales . So any dealer if they want to stay in buisness needs to have a Gunbroker skde and or be part of any networks like Guns.com as the days of folks walking in buying just don’t keep lights on hih need nationwide shoppers!
 
Just a little follow up ... Guns.com price was only $9 higher than 2 of my LGSs quoted me before realizing there were none at any of the distributors. Since the gun is currently not being produced and not available I'm sure I'd be in for a long wait from my LGSs. And whenever it does go back into production I'm sure there will be a stiff increase in the MSRP. So

The checkout process online was "very" clean and easy, right down to selecting a local FFL/LGS to send it to. They had a drop down list of all of the FFLs near me with their distances from my home. Even had some I didn't know about. I only have to go 1.7 miles to pick it up when it arrives at my favorite Mom & Pop LGS.

Ist time online wasn't bad at all, though I'll still buy local when I can.

I bought my SA Kuna fromGuns.com as they were the only one that had it in stock, when I wanted it, anywhere close to what I was willing to pay. Arrived at LGS for transfer within a week (over a weekend). Think that was the third new gun I’ve bought from them that I couldn’t find elsewhere. I’m sure I’ll buy from them again.
