new process to remove kidney stones..

It's so much fun when they pull that three foot long stent out of yer weiner. and she just keeps saying almost done, it's almost done. crap you said that 30 minutes ago, or least it felt like that long. after it's out the burning makes ya cross yer legs like a 3 year old needing to pee badly.

Have had everything else except kidney stones...knock on wood. Good Luck! It's a wonder I don't...now 71...I have never in all these years drank enough H20 but plenty of BEER...lol.
i never drink enough water, may be another in the reasons for these severe leg cramps during the night as well

i can tell you, that i have had more than i procedure where the urologist HAD to insert a super long device up there...i was like, "doc, where da hell you going"...??????

What happened to an ultra-sonic approach...where the stones are busted up. Has medical science technology moved away from that?

the last time i had stones busted, it was a different form of that...they put a pad up to the side of my body, where the stones are......then some sort of high intensity shockwaves would "pound" the stones..

the old, "sit in a water bath and get the ultrasound" is gone, at least in the doctors office, maybe still in use at the actual hospitals..???
