i LOVE the CZ brand...i am a fanboy of them.
however, all i have are the CZ 75B and 75 B Omega (both 9mm's) , and the 97 B (45 ACP)
but, to me on a personal level, i cannot justify the cost of the Shadow 2...since it is only a 9mm.
for me, i get GREAT performance on the lower price spectrum of the ones i have.
i'd rather spend the money for a 1911 (45 ACP of course) instead.

I’ve got a Shadow 2. THE most accurate and easiest to shoot 9 I own. I also picked up a Kadet kit. Drop the mag, pull off the slide, install Kadet slide and mag and you have a great .22 with the same trigger! Kadet has to be “hand fitted” for initial operation, but Well worth the time and energy. Trained folks with the Kadet. If they can’t shoot that they can’t shoot anything

yeah, but by the time you pay cc fee's and whatever else, the price quickly runs up to near retail...
best to check out several gun shops in your area.
good luck if you do buy one.......i personally just cannot see paying that much for a 9mm.
when the cheaper CZ's do the same darned thing, frankly.

1,089.70 after taxes and shipping. I’ll spend 30 bucks for the transfer. So basically 1,120 bucks after said and done. The retail side is 1,600 bucks before I do anything.
Basically I saved 500 bucks.

Here is what I pretty much got.
Besides been an XDM fanboy, I like CZ’s. I kinda wish I could have not gotten a few other toys (like a 2 nocturne or the XDM elite in 9mm). But we all deserve 1 fancy toy to call our own.

I have a Shadow 2. To say I love it is an understatement. It makes me, a so-so shooter, a much better shooter. It feels good in the hand and recoil management is easy.

either way, you will not regret the purchase.....i have bought (i think) 3 guns off of Gunbroker, during the scandemic, and EACH purchase was a GREAT.....
but right now, for me, anymore gun purchases will be at my LGS, and yes, maybe a tad bit higher that at Gunbroker, but still below retail.

Well I am thinking about a few. I honestly been thinking about changing the color of the S2. I’m still looking into what they offer.
You did well. I bought mine many many moons ago and gave like $1199. Get yourself a Kadet kit if you can find one. Makes a great “practice” gun using same exact trigger pull. Love mine.

I have owned a shadow 2 for 6 years. It is a great gun for the range and my wife and daughter love it. The only down side is that it is heavy. Not the gun you want to carry around in my opinion. That weight contributes to the low felt recoil. CZ makes really dependable shooters (I have the P01 also) and I have never experienced a miss-feed or Jam.

I’ll definitely look for it. Never thought I would get one but things happen. Owning 3 other CZ’s and having a friend pick up a P09C and liking it.
