How is a "gatling gun" meet the definition of a "machine gun"? The gatling requires a pull of the trigger for each shot whereas the machine gun requires only one pull of the trigger for (possible) multiple shots fired. BIG difference mechanically & legally.
 
I think I could pull a semi auto trigger quicker and with less effort that that crazy contraption

I understand that the crazy murderer that got the Bump-stops in the spotlight would had made much more casualties if he'd used a bolt action with a scope.
Popping caps doesn't stop the threat, putting a good bullet on target is what it takes.
 
I can burn ammo faster than I can pay for it in semi thanks. And by the by a Gatling gun is NOT a “machine gun” (At least a hand cranked one isn’t. I came very close to buying a beautiful .22 galtling gun at Knob Creek a few years back. $$$ was just a bridge too far for a toy.
