I would think that practice with the non dominant hand and injured hand drills would also be good. The El Presidente has been my go-to range drill since 1979 when I was introduced to the drill by a retired air force colonel. It works with any repeating firearm you care to use.
I have done this drill weak handed using a Roger Quick Case for reloading.I would think that practice with the non dominant hand and injured hand drills would also be good.
Does anyone carry Calvary style anymore? Seems that method allows either hand to access the handgun (butt forward).
Recognize that’s problematic for concealed carry.

Crossdraw would make more sense. And I’m visualizing how off hand twist draw would work too.Reversed , strong side ? Never say never , but essentially never .
But ... Crossdraw , it would apply for being accesable for off hand with twist draw , if need exists .
But that begs the observation about Crossdraw not common , and currently held in generally low regard .
