what is funnier.... i had never seen a beaver in the wild until a few years ago in ARKANSAS at a campground on the river
that puppy was flat tormenting everyone along the river bank that was fishing

That's when you put on a top water bait and when he is swimming on top you snag him and hang on for the fun.

Funny story, I was fishin with this old boy years ago and i didn't know he had a fear of snakes. hell this is Arkysaw. animals ain't supposed to scare us. anyway we was striper fishin on lake Maumelle and was takin a break and close to the bank i see a water moccasin swimming close to the bank. it was a pretty good chunk away. anyway i cast that direction and danged if wasn't a perfect cast. i snagged him and reeled him in. pulled him in the boat and he bailed out in the water. lol now you ain't supposed to swim or get in this lake cause it was a drinking water lake. it was against the law. dern snake wasn't much longer than a foot.

He wouldn't get back in til i got the snake out. so i step on it's head and kill it and get my plug out and throw it out and then he bout hurt himself gettin in the boat. cause the dead snake was in the water. I laughed the whole time and he cussed me the whole time. Fun times in Arkysaw.
