Weather discussions and updates.

Im at the western edge of the possible big snow area and we need it more than rain! We haven't had a good long cold spell to keep away insects/bugs or dowm yo a minimum. Helps get an early soil moisture profile that's very much needed! Sure rain is welcome, but insect control is in more need

We live in the Florida Panhandle. We woke up to this one day last January, broke all records. The horses and dogs were going, "Wtf?"

I'm in that southern danger zone. I really hope this guy is wrong. Lots of trees in my little city. Heavy snow or ice makes things real interesting around here.
I remember the big ice storm we had back in 1994. Power out everywhere, driving was plumb dangerous and I put in 70+ hours that week.
Now I'm retired, I'll just stay in the house and say "it sure looks bad out there."

He’s just restating what a lot of NOAA and weather forecasters have already put out on discussion weather logs. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
yup but he is monetized on you tube.. chasing that coin

everyone expects use in north east texas to include dfw east to arkansas to get HAMMERED or NOT HAMMERED with snow , ice etc...
but we had such a mild winter last year, maybe we get ugly this year.. we prepare around nov to be ready for days off power and such.. like spring tornado season. but in the 70s in elementary school she taught us we would be under 5 feet of ice now anyway each winter... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

It’s sad when Illinois (along I-80 east of SA mother ship) has the same damn weather near Mobile Alabama at the moment.

Otherwise I’m expecting a Midwest Weather.

I watched Ryan last night and I’m hoping he’s wrong since I live in the south and according to him it’s not looking good for us in the Tn Valley. I remember the blizzard of 93 it shut everything down for over a week and it was only 2 feet of snow lol. We don’t get over a couple of inches and that’s a big snow for us here in the south. But I know exactly what kind of winter weather we will have in 2026-27 March 2027.

Yeah, I am over in NE Georgia on the I-85 corridor. I missed that 93 storm because I spent the whole year stationed in South Korea. I don't remember what year it was be we got 11" while I've lived here plus a few Ice storms of course. I already have 2 stacks of hickory in the garage. https://stackedwood.com/
