if some states banish semi-automatics...(hello blue azzholio states)...then revolvers will just have to fit the need. it might not be a bad idea to have at least one in your collection, preferably at the very least a snub nose, for carry.
 
I love .22s of all kinds and have several .22 revolvers. I've always heard good things about the Heritage Rough Rider, but honestly, every time I looked at one, it just appeared to be poorly and cheaply made. I just didn't care for it. Maybe I'm wrong as they do seem to be very popular.
A few months ago I did buy a Ruger Super Wrangler. Another bargain priced SA .22. So far I've been pretty happy with it. Its a good little plinker. Tin can accurate. But don't expect target quality accuracy out of it.

Back in the dim and misty past, Handgun Control Inc. (now the Brady Bunch)was all about getting rid of those dangerous revolvers—the commies won’t be happy until they’ve outlawed ALL ….
 
I had a Heritage 22 for a short while. I was using cheap range ammo and the hotter the cylinder got, the more difficult it was to empty the shells. They would stick more and more. It seemed fairly accurate and reliable. Not sure if my ammo or the cylinder metallurgy was to blame.

The Ruger is a little more money and I think is a little better made. But I do enjoy my Rough Rider. They are very inexpensive, make a great introductory firearm, just fun and cheap to shoot. It was either PSA or GAG had a sale very recently, the 4.75" model for $99 including the .22 magnum cylinder as well. I wish I'd taken advantage of that "flash sale". I won't hesitate next time. I think a pair of those would be cool. ;)

Well back in the day, I used to borrow my grandpa's cheap imported 22lr revolver and shoot the pee out of it.
Today I wouldn't own something so cheap including the Heritage or Wrangler.
Maybe the super wrangler.

Now I do own a S&W and the Colt 22 revolvers.

I spot another S&W Mountain gun in any caliber or an Anaconda in 45 colt, and I'll then have another revolver.
Or something in 327 that I don't already have.
 
I teally like revolvers. I just wish I could get one that would take a red dot and a weapon light and only cost as much as a Glock.

I also like .22LR and have a Heritage Rough Rider (with both cylinders). I do prefer DA/SA though and can't wait to try out my Charter Arms Pathfinder 1.5.
 
I inherited one of the first handguns I shot. The actual first was a H&R break top that shaved lead and had as much side flash from the cylinder as it did from the muzzle. I don't recall what happened to it. Dad & his steel mill co-workers traded guns & musical & fishing equipment like sorority girls trade clothes (You'd shake your head if I told you the guitars I learned to play on that were eventually traded away, but I digress...) The inherited one is a High Standard Double Nine with factory 'ivory style grips" It's a good shooter. Also have a Colt New Frontier that has a .22 mag cylinder. The last is a 4" Colt Diamondback that is wicked accurate. I burned up many a carton of Pop's ammo with that 4".

Here you go, a Smith & Wesson M&P R8 .357. Put what you want on the top and bottom rails. I don't do Glocks, so I don't know what you pay for them. And this revolver is not cheap.

Oh, I've had it for years! I love it. I used to carry it in a chest holster while walking my dogs (I live in the country). But now after having total knee replacement surgery in both knees and a bad back, I can't walk my dogs any more. Living in South Texas makes it kind of hard to conceal when going to town. Too hot for clothes. The one month out of the year for a light jacket helps with concealing it.
