Shot several courses of fire with the posse this morning. My oldest granddaughter and her new husband shot with us. Dang, those younguns can shoot! They headed home this afternoon. The good news is, they want to move here close to us and both their employers have branches here. Life is good

Laying in a hospital bed in pain. But the Dilaudid and percoet 10 are helping some. Had my last fusion of my lumbar today. No more vertebrae left that hasn’t been fused in my lumbar. 2 more days before the Dr will let me go home. 3 months of recovery with no driving and no lifting over 5 lbs.

In September 1991 my newspaper sent me to Big Bend National Park, nearTerlingua, Tx, to write

a feature story with photos. A lot of locals gave me this piece of sandstone with a small fossil and numerous signatures to show their appreciation for the story. Really had a great time.

wife and i got back minutes ago from primary voting.

we BOTH vote red...however, this primary, we needed to vote another way, to rid of a few blue people, like my city, a socialist/pinko wants to be our mayor......not over my dead body.

then we have a very anti 2A guy, running for the AG's office......again, not over my dead body, as he pushed and pushed for magazine bans and "assault weapons bans" with the push from "some mothers group"..........in fact, another "blue guy" is totally 2A friendly, running for the AG's office.......guess how i went there.

so we had to go blue this time, to ensure some "blues get thier walking papers".

i'll be back tomorrow morning to hopefully celebrate all the good stuff.


another thing too...when we arrived at the polling place, we saw a man placing placards for the candidates at the place...

i took down his license plate...

however, 4 poll workers went outside, with a tape measure and made sure he was 50 feet away from the entrance doors....

well....NONE of our candidates won the primary.....which means, come November, my city could very well have a Socialist mayor......

good grief, the people that support such bull puckey.

but, come november, the wife and i will go all red, as usual.

there is and always will be a "stranglehold" of that "other party"

and nooooo...........we cannot move away.

insurance here is way too high for such cars.......but, if the ones with money, can afford such power...then the price of gasoline, and insurance, should not be an issue......eh...????
