Bad Maintenance or Bad Luck?

Anyway another gun screwed up on me, i took two to shoot and quit after this one. this is a first for me. it broke a firing pin clip and locked this puppy up tighter than a drum. took a while to get the bolt out. i found one piece of the clip. didn't hurt anything but when i shot it i said welp that didn't sound right. i had done run 30 rounds through it when it happened. blew the firing pin completely out of the BCG. Anyway day was cut short. PSA Jakl. i was running suppresed, don't know if it had too much backpressure. i dunno how it happened, like i said a first for me. I put a new clip in and it's fine. It was shootin good before the lockup

It had never give me any trouble before. i mighta not seated that clip good last time i shot and cleaned it.

Magazine worked fine, it was the firing pin retaining pin. i called it a clip.
