Not what you see in the news every day around here.

Bad shoot.
Only winged him in the cheek.
well, on the plus side, the victim (shooter) may only have to deal with a civil lawsuit, which we all know is going to come.

so at least the victim (again the shooter) doesn't have to go thru a full blown investigation, lawyers, etc,etc....

At least he got hit. I saw the video and the kid lost his pants and fell.

I’d imagine there will be lawyers that defend him (the shooter) especially with the video

update, the "kid" faces multiple charges..

The Brief

    • Police say a 20-year-old man attempted to rob a concealed carry license holder at an Orland Park Shell gas station Tuesday morning before the victim shot him in the cheek.
    • The suspect, identified as Christopher Brown, was arrested, hospitalized in stable condition and charged with attempted armed robbery and multiple weapons- and stolen property-related felonies.
    • Investigators said Brown was carrying a stolen firearm and driving a stolen vehicle from Michigan City, Indiana, while the concealed carry license holder was not injured.

Why do I feel like the kid will get off easy.

Hi,

I know this story is starting to get long in the tooth but here is more insight from a resource I enjoy.

The author just makes a few observations about carry position, having a round chambered, getting off the X, cover, etc, along with some entertaining comments from the home audience. ;)

Thank you for your indulgence
