if a fish jumped out of the water and grabbed the hook and put it in it's mouth and said, "i'll make it easy for you".............i still couldn't catch any! drain a fish tank and i still couldn't catch any! give a man a fish and he'll eat for the day, teach a man to fish and he'll drink beer and forget about it

well, it's "the calm before the storm"...right now
so the wife has a long shopping list, that we have to go and git..
but first, i gotta go for blood workup testing, then to the bank, THEN shopping.
gonna be some long lines nearly everywhere today.
then, i gotta do another "sweep" of my foundation, like for the zillionth time, to re-check for any possible water leaks between my neighbors driveway to my property.......
so the wife has a long shopping list, that we have to go and git..

They are preparing for the long trip south. Little tiny birds with really big hearts.

Yes, been very busy with them the last couple of weeks. We usually do have a few that stick around all year. So I always make sure I have nectar made up for them year round. You can call me a bleeding heart, but I enjoy watching them.

Got all three limbs cut and safely on the ground. The only problem was that for all three, the only side to safely cut from was on the slight down breeze side of the limbs. Mesquite wood shavings/saw dust sure does like to stick to sweat. The wife is not a happy camper with me being covered in future BBQ wood and shedding it all over the house!

well, the eye doctor said that the blood pressure "diuretic pills" took care of the "cotton balls" objects in my eyes, and they are gone...and no bleeding in either eye, so my diabetes is under control
my eye prescription did not change, but my benefits pay for a new pair of glasses yearly, so i am getting another pair.
then off to burger king to get the wife and me each the chicken classic sammich (2 for $6.00 sale)
then off to the Italian bakery for some pizza strips, and brownies...hey a good eye exam deserves brownies, and THEY were on sale, buy 2, get 1 free....!!!!!!!
then to stop & shop for gasoline, in case we lose power during this massive storm coming.
but the market was JAMMED with people, who you'd think they were gonna be stranded forever....!!!!
i still have storm windows to put up, on the screen doors.
and other needed preparations
