Did You Know the Navy Had an Attack Helicopter Squadron?

Replaced by Sikorsky SH-60/MH-60 Seahawk (or Sea Hawk)
My Brother-in-Law flew them until he switched to the C-130.
Rode one once in 1976 as part of a crew switch to let each other know what the other crews' duties were. I have only ridden in one helicopter since. I can swim better than I can fly.

Hello all, here is today's article posted on TheArmoryLife.com. It is titled “U.S. Navy Seawolves Helicopter Attack Squadron HA(L)-3” and can be found at https://www.thearmorylife.com/u-s-navy-seawolves-helicopter-attack-squadron-hal-3/.

My I come from a family that has worked at Sikorsky aircraft since the 1950s we migrated from Massachusetts to Connecticut to work there. I have Retired recently after Lucky Martin purchased Skorski, but I still have at least seven or eight family members working in Connecticut and at Lockheed, we always made a great product. We always brought the troops home. Skorski replaced. The bell line of helicopters used in the Vietnam war and they’re proving that the lineage of using helicopter in combat is very important for the troops on the ground.
