Little Gun, BIG Bore

[USMC6094]

I've apparently gotten a taste for the Harrington & Richardson single shot rifles and shotguns.

I call this one, The Whale Gun...

12 guage, 3 inch chamber, rifled slug gun.

Barrel was made using a ten guage barrel blank.

I mounted my Grandfather's Weaver QWIK-POUNT on it for looks, but I'm pretty sure it won't be able to handle the recoil.
So, I'll probably mount an Aimpoint 9000 on it eventually.

I believe it's a 24 inch tube

It looks so much shorter. Optical illusion i guess. Cool shotgun.

I was trying to be tactful, but every innocent sentence i put together was solidly trashed by my “inner 13 year old self”!

Old school set up! I like it!
