Come to the conclusion about Bud.’s

Well I honestly see where people have something to say about Bud’s. I ordered up some ammo last week in 2 different orders and the CZ 75 compact.

Well the 2 order left Uncle Lee’s location 10/13 via UPS. I was supposed to get it today but it decided to venture to Michigan on a different trail that it wasn’t scanned too.

The 1st order is in the process of getting ready for UPS. I hope it picks me up if it wanders off like the one I’m waiting for.

Now I’m not sure what is happening with the CZ 75 compact. It’s one of those “they won’t be making it anymore” toys.

So basically I’m thinking about just ordering stuff from my gun shop more often.

it is tough when the drive is longer than we'd like.

as a former trucker, I LOVED driving the miles, to get those dollars

as a retired trucker......i hate driving cuz it:

1) its my car and putting miles on it doesn't pay me.

2) i have to buy the fuel

3) i have to pay the insurance

4) i have to pay for the maintenance

5) i sit low nowadays in my toyota, so i cannot see the gals in thier micro-miniskirts

6) i don't have an air horn, to tick off people that want peace and quiet in thier neighborhood......

at my LGS, they will order anything......i cannot tell you the prices, as i never had one ordered thru them..but i's "suspect" that from one dealer to another there will be a discount provided to the "other dealer", which should be passed on down to you.

worth a shot to at least inquire.

Has slightly better prices on firearms. I am unsure if there is no sales tax or if it’s already included in the price at checkout but the savings and quick turnaround keeps me going back on some items. Hope that helps.

what i have found regarding state sales taxes, is that many if not all these online retailers have a list, built into their ordering system, to charge you your state sales taxes.

everytime i order online, before the shipping charges, come the state sales taxes....then the totals.

no escaping my state sales taxes.

so in the end..??

you save on the product, but get whacked on shipping and taxes....

not too much of a savings overall, from going to the local

I agree. Times the inconvenience is worth the savings till I get it. I made it this long without it. Plus the internet is like the new show room for some of us.
