Well I finally took possession of the CZ 75 compact today since I wasn’t mandated to work.

Yes those are 10 round magazines but I did buy some 15 round magazines.

I did go try it out and didn’t take pictures of the target since I had my mom with me shooting in the next stall.

Update with mom. She’s starting to do better with the SP01 that was gifted to her.

Tomorrow we go shooting again

The second handgun I ever bought was a CZ75B in .40S&W. I was carrying a RIA 1911 in God's caliber and my wife suggested a .40S&W because the ammunition might be cheaper than .45ACP.

I bought the CZ at a gunshow and went straight to the range. I was disappointed because I had been looking for a S&W4006 and hadn't found one.

Bottom line, I fired my first shot with the CZ and hit Dead Nuts bull's eye. I became a Fanboi immediately.

I always wanted a 9mm Compact but it never happened. I'm kind of glad it didn't because I would have ended up selling it because it wasn't on the approved list for my employer at the time.

I also used to be the guy who talked smack about carrying a "Full Sized Fighting Gun" until I got old.

Yeah I have come to the point I like the “full sized” “metal” guns. They aren’t exactly cheap but well worth the money. I think it was @Old_Me that mentioned about the original 75 series after buying the Shadow 2. Now that they are discontinuing them I figured I grab one before it’s to late.

Short story. I’m thankful that I did get one before I regretted it

yes, the full size 75 B line will end production at the end of 2026.

i still think that's a bad idea.

The 75 line isn’t going away totally. I understand that it’s been copied more than the Glock and shoots a lot better. Personally after owning 6 CZ’s now (I counted last night and doesn’t count selling the one nocturne to a friend) I honestly think that CZ did something right.

It started with a surplus CZ82 I bought on line (I had an 03 license). $180.00 shipped. 12 rounds of 9 X1 8MM from a rest at 25 yards, all in the black. Huh? A surplus gun? I bought a CZ P-01 and the rest is history. I have never once had to send a gun back, which I can't say of Colt, S&W,Ruger, or Taurus. CZ's line of polymers make Glock's look second rate, although I do like the Glock 21 .45.

Honestly my P10C was my first one not to have any issues out of the box. Heck it’s still running with everything out of the box. Yeah I like the XDm’s first generation a lot. Honestly I can’t bash SA at all but when I finally got my hands on the P09C and Shadow 2 from CZ. I been falling into that rabbit hole. Now I realize why the CZ 75 series is popular.

I have a P-09C, no problems with any ammunition I've shot in it. What problems are you having?
I don’t have any problems because I have a Cajunized P07. The P09C had quite a lot of issues when it first came out, but considering it is just an updated P07 it really shouldn’t have had any.

P-10C's for the win.

The P-10's seem to be under-rated, but mine are in my Tier 1 category, as are my XDm Competitions.

The rest of my CZ's are 75's (pre-B, B & B-Retro), and a 75 Kadet.

I haven't warmed up to the rest of their models.
